Africa’s big birding expo that happens once every year, is hosted by Uganda from the 6th to the 9th of December 2018 aimed at promoting Uganda birding safaris. Held at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center in Entebbe, the 2nd African Birding Expo 2018 is expected to be attended by a whole spectrum of the bird watching community within and outside the African continent. The African Expo tours were done by different bird guide days before the 6th -9th December to spot several bird species.
Birding or bird watching is one of the outstanding experiences and popular Uganda safaris offered throughout the country for different tourists interested in the activity. Amazingly, Uganda hosts over 1,078 bird species roughly 10% of the world’s birds and about 50% of Africa’s bird species. Activities at the 2nd African Birding Expo 2018
At the event, there will be stands selling bird watching and nature conservation related products some of which include binoculars, guide books, clothes, and any other related equipment.
There will be tour operators, hoteliers, conservation organizations, travel agents, airlines. This event happens once in Africa every year.
The expo is extraordinary involving other tourism activities such as gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable national park, Chimpanzee trekking in kibale forest national park, game viewing in the dotted savannah plains of Murchison falls national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Lake Mburo national park and Kidepo valley national park.
